I am one of those people that shop around before finally purchasing an item. Recently I found out how important price comparing is when shopping online. In a Magazine article a women said after she had bought something online her friend wanted one too so she told her friend where she got it online. When the Friend went to the site the items price was more than fifty dollars more than what the other women paid just days ago.
The reason for the price difference was the first women was a price comparer, she used sites such as pricegrabber.com, etc.. Merchant’s site’s use your computers cookies to see if you have visited any of these sites. If you haven’t, you may be quoted a higher price than someone that does. I think that is very sleazy.
Since using these price comparing websites can make such a difference in the price you pay I will be reviewing all the price comparing websites I can find.
