Olay, Clarity Daily Scrub from Olay’s Daily Facials Line

I received a 0.5 fl oz bottle as a free sample. I like the design and colors on the bottle; it just makes you want to relax. I hope that the product works as good as the bottle is pretty. It has little dissolvable scrubbing flakes and a nice mellow scent. It does not say what the scent is, but at first whiff, I would say it was lilac. However, the ingredients have no lilac listed. The only scent related ingredients are sage, camellia, and mint. There is also green tea listed as an ingredient. Whatever they call it, it smells good.
It only takes a dime to a quarter size amount of the face wash to wash both your face and neck. I would like it to foam up more, because as it is you are tempted to use more than necessary if you go by the bubbles. Right after you have rinsed the scrub off you will be able to feel a difference in your skin. For the first few days of use I skipped my normal after-shower facial routine (example: apply lotion, etc.) so I could see how the skin felt after use. My skin was smooth with minimal residue left over from scrub. My face stayed soft and smooth all day, all the way until bedtime, after that I was asleep, but in the mornings my face still felt clean and smooth. I looked forward to using Olay’s Clarity scrub again.

I cannot say either way whether it clears acne since the sample was small and I only used it for about two weeks (using on average once a day, sometimes skipping a day). I can say that it calmed my skin and existing blemishes, reducing redness. And There was an improvement in my skin in the short time I was using it.

When I was writing this review I went to Olay’s website to get a link and check out other products, sign up for samples and stuff. Upon browsing through Olay’s Daily Facial’s line of products I noticed that the “Clarity Daily Scrub” was not listed, it seems Olay has replaced this product with “Olay Daily Facials Clarity Lathering Cloths. However, you can still find Olay’s Clarity Daily Scrub on online store’s such as Medicchet.com, etc..
Warning: Be cautious around eyes when using this product, those scrubbing flakes can really hurt if gotten in eyes.
